Says turmoil hit youth need healing touch not harassment

Srinagar, Mar 16 (KNS): Expressing serious concern over media reports about alleged harassment to Kashmiri students outside the state, the MLA, Rafiabad Yawar Dilawar Mir has impressed upon the Ministry of Home Affairs to take every step required to ensure their safety and security.
He said harassment of Kashmir’s outside J&K would only cause alienation among the youth which is against the overall interests of the country.
In a statement to KNS, Yawar Dilawar has said that Kashmiri students seek admission in educational institutions of other states of the country just to shape their future by acquiring higher technical and professional knowledge and they are yearning for peace and prosperity.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He has urged that the Government of India should ensure safety of Kashmiri youth in every part of the country weather he is a student or businessman.
Yawar said that 26 years of turmoil and militancy have usurped educational and employment prospects of the J&K youth, who need a humanitarian treatment to recoup from the trauma not harassment as is being alleged. He has called for ensuring peace of mind and sense of security to the youth of the state to enable them shape their future at par with other parts of the world. (KNS)
