Srinagar, May 17 (KNS): Former MLA Rafiabad Yawar Mir on Friday met Governor Satya Pal Malik and discussed various general as well as constituency specific issues with him.

The irregular power cuts in Rafiabad and other areas of District Baramulla during the holy month of Ramadhan was one of the key points discussed today.

According to a statement issued to KNS, Yawar insisted that the work on receiving stations Achabal, Hachepora, Hadipora and Panzalla which were sanctioned in his tenure should be expedited and completed soon for the convenience of the people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Yawar stressed that basic amenities like Power, Water, Ration, Health etc. should be prioritized during this holy month of Ramadhan and the MCC should not be a barrier in providing these basic facilities to people.

Furthermore Yawar also appealed the Governor to open new JK Bank branches in far flung areas of Kangroosa Brandub Panzalla Behrampora and others. (KNS)
