Srinagar, Nov 07 (KNS): Former MLA Rafiabad and Apni Party leader Yawar Dilawar Mir alongwith Party Provincial Secretary Altaf Malik & Party Senior Leader Khurshed Khan on Sunday conducted an extensive tour in Rafiabad Constituency.

The party leadership interacted with locals while taking stock of their grievances.

In a statement issued here, Yawar Mir urged the administration to ensure that basic facilities to the people especially residing in upper hilly areas are provided without any halt.

"The people have complained about incessant power cuts which is adding more to their existing woes. The government must provided uninterrupted electric supply to the people during winters so that people have not to suffer in chilly weather," he said.

Mir also urged that an ample supply of essential commodities must be maintained during winter season especially in far-flung areas that remain cut-off from other parts due to heavy snowfall.

The locals highly appreciated the efforts of Apni Party leaders with regards to raising the pressing issues of the common man before the government.

"We highly hope that Apni Party comes to power so that the grievances of the people will get resolved on a prompt basis. The party has commenced a new chapter of sincere politics in J&K and the public firmly believes in its people-centric agenda," a local observed. (KNS)
