Jammu, Jan 22 (KNS): Describing PWD pivotal for a turnaround in the socio economic transformation, the MLA Rafiabad Yawar Dilawar Mir has called for equitable distribution of funds and projects with focus on remote and backward pockets of the state.
Participating in debate on demand of grants for PWD in Legislative Assembly, Yawar Mir demanded due share to each assembly segment under CRF, PMGSY and NABARD schemes to construct roads and bridges in nook and corner of the state. He urged for rationalization of developmental works in PWD at a massive scale to address the concerns of legislators with regard to construction of roads and bridges in their respective constituencies.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While expressing dismay over poor performance of JKPCC, Yawar demanded completion of Doabgah bridge on war footing basis which is under construction since last three years. He said this vital bridge which will provide better road connectivity to three constituencies of Rafiabad ,Sopore and Baramulla. He also demanded construction of Tangmarg- Loran Mandi Poonch road which will provide 3rd dependable alternate to Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. (KNS)
