Srinagar, May 11 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and MLC Yasir Reshi on Friday condemned the ‘’thrashing’ of a poor shopkeeper by Police in Sumbal area and demanded immediate enquiry into the matter.
Yasir according to the KNS correspondent said that FIR should be lodged against the accused policemen who have fired volley of pellets on poor shopkeeper without any reason’.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He expressed sympathy with poor identified as Abdul Rashid, said “I am ready for provide every assistance to the injured shopkeeper for his treatment.”
He said “wherever innocents are being killed, harassed and thrashed, I stand with them. I stand with truth.”
Reshi said that those found guilty should be dealt with strictly according to the law. (KNS)
