Srinagar, July 30 (KNS): Chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik who has been shifted to central jail Srinagar today. JKLF chairman was arrested by police on 8th July 2016 and since then remained in police custody at police station Kothibagh.
He was kept in solitary confinement, cut off from the rest of the world, because of which his health deteriorated considerably.
Recently he was taken to a hospital where doctors took his necessary medical tests and advised authorities to admit him in the hospital for treatment. But instead of doing that authorities shifted him back to police station Kothibagh from where he has been today shifted to central jail Srinagar.
It is worth to mention that after taking Yasin Malik into custody, police kept him in solitary confinement and nobody was allowed to visit him in the police station.
JKLF leaders Muhammad Yasin Butt and Zahoor Ahmad Butt who tried to see him in the police station Kothibagh were arrested by police and both of them still remain lodged at the same police station.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKLF spokesman while condemning the continues incarceration of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, JKLF zonal vice chairman Muhammad Yasin Butt and senior leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt and shifting Yasin sahib to central jail Srinagar has said that jails and torture centers are not new for JKLF chairman but if any untoward is done to his health the responsibility will lie on so-called rulers and their authorities.
Meanwhile JKLF chairman in his message from incarceration has strongly condemned the ongoing onslaught of Indian forces against people of Kashmir.
While condemning the spree of arrests, arresting fathers in place of sons, nocturnal raids, curfew politics and other repressive acts of Indian forces, Yasin Malik said that police and forces are raiding the houses of people and trampling the sanctity of houses and this violent approach of forces has created havoc throughout Kashmir.
He said that through these harsh measures so-called rulers want to defeat peoples will but these forces of evil should know that peoples will and their passion for freedom cannot be defeated by military might.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Kashmiris living in Finland Europe held a protest demonstration outside Indian embassy. Led by president JKLF Europe zone Tanveer Chowdhry, Kashmiris raised slogans against oppressive measures of India in Kashmir. The demonstration was also attended by JKLF Finland president Shahzad Ahmad and others.
Also JKLF vice chairmen Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and Mushtaq Ajmal visited SMHS hospital and enquired about the health of injured person. Leaders met with some of the injured and their attendants and prayed for their early recovery.
On the occasion JKLF vice chairmen said that even Indian doctors like doctor Natrajan have raised questions about the use of brutal force against Kashmiris and termed this human tragedy as incomparable.
Meanwhile the mother of JKLF district president Bandipora Syed Nisar Jeelani passed away today at SMHS hospital. She was admitted at the hospital for some days and breathed her last today morning.
The deceased lady was the spouse of a martyr Syed Ziya ud din Jeelani who embraced martyrdom in early 1990’s.
JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal along with JKLF zonal deputy general secretary Farooq Ahmad Dar and district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) visited Asham Sonawari and participated in her funeral prayers.
While paying rich tributes to the deceased mother, JKLF incarcerated Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has termed he demise as a personal loss.
While praying for her heavenly abode JKLF chairman also prayed for the patience of her bereaved family.
JKLF chairman also expressed sorrow over the demise of veteran religious and social leader of Kargil Muhammad Hussain Zakiri and also at the sad demise of brother of trade union leader Nisar Ali Mir. JKLF chairman expressed condolences to the bereaved families. (KNS)
