Condemns ban on Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid

Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNS): Ailing incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has been today shifted back to central jail Srinagar from SKI. He had been admitted to SKI Soura on 22nd of October 2016 after his right arm swelled because of some CT scan procedural injection failure.
In a statement issued to KNS, Spokesman JKLF said that the injection failure had caused a severe infection and swelling in his arm and because of that he suffered from high fevers for many days. Though he is still on high antibiotics and proble regarding kidney stones and varying INR levels is there, but swelling in his arm has considerably lessened and fever also is in control from last two days.
He said that Today morning JKLF chairman was discharged from SKI hospital with a recommendation from doctors that he should be regularly brought to hospital for various medical checkups regarding his ailments.
After discharge from hospital police shifted him back to Srinagar central jail. It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman was arrested by police on 8th July 2016. Even at the time of arrest he was taking high antibiotics but instead of providing him a healthy environment, authorities revengefully placed him in solitary confinement with virtually no medical facilities available. On 30th July 2016 he was shifted to central jail Srinagar and ban on his visitors remained unchanged and so did the denial of proper medical care to him.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
On 30th august 2016 Yasin Malik was shifted to JIC Humhama but his disconnection from the rest of the world continued. From JIC Yasin Malik was shifted to Humhama police mess but on 19th September 2016 he was again shifted to JIC humhama and placed under solitary confinement in a cell. His health considerably deteriorated in the cell and doctors in writing recommended to authorities to keep him at some better place as he was facing grave medical proble.
Recent medical tests of JKLF chairman taken at a private hospital have shown a 7.7 mm stone obstructing the left upper ureter and tests regarding his heart were also not satisfactory after which he was again shifted to central jail Srinagar on 9th October 2016. As recommended by doctors on 21st October he was taken for CT scan where he suffered an abscess attack in his right arm and was admitted for the same in SKI hospital.
Meanwhile JKLF has strongly condemned the ban on Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar and termed it as a direct interference in the religious affairs of Musli. JKLF said that Friday prayers have been banned in Jamia Masjid from last 16 weeks and this is being done in the name of so-called democracy.
He said that sham democracy and pro-India politicians and rulers have surpassed even Dogra rulers and Hitler in their pursuit to terrorizing and oppressing unarmed civilians in Jammu Kashmir. (KNS)
