Srinagar, July 01(KNS): The Rollball Association of Jammu & Kashmir has taken a significant stride in fostering the growth of Roll Ball in the Srinagar Division.
Under the leadership of Mohd. Yaseen Choodisaaz, the newly constituted Rollball Development Committee aims to explore avenues for promoting and advancing the sport.
Recognized by the J&K Sports Council, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, Roll Ball holds immense potential for popularity and development.
In another noteworthy achievement, Roll Ball has secured a spot in the prestigious National Games, slated to take place in Goa during October and November 2023.
This recognition provides an excellent platform for Roll Ball players from Jammu & Kashmir to showcase their talents and compete at the national level.
With a collective vision to drive progress, the Rollball Development Committee, including esteemed members like Vice Chairman Showkat Ahmad Kak, Technical Director Ashraf Dijjo, and members Showkat Sheikh and Mohd. Salman, will actively coordinate with districts across the Srinagar Division.
