KNS scribe receives award at Sopore

Srinagar, Mar 24 (KNS): The World TB day was observed at various district headquarters across the valley on Saturday marked by the awareness programmes.
The awareness programmes in this regard were held at Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Ananatnag, Kupwara and Bandipora.
The experts during the programmes highlighted its symptoms and precautions.
The biggest awareness programmes was held at Degree College Sopore in which Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Baramulla Bashir Ahmad Chaloo was the chief Guest.

On the occasion, KNS correspondent, Iqbal Amin was awarded for highlighting the issues of people.
This was organised by District tuberculosis officer Baramulla Dr Tehjeena Jameel. All block medical officers of District Baramulla were present on the occasion.
Doordarshan actors Bashir Koter, Shaheena and Shafi Sopori performed in the event. Students of different schools also performed. Shabir hakak was the Anchor. At the end appriciation cerficates were distributed among empoyees and journalists whose performance remains good in their respective field. (KNS)
