Budgam, December 05(KNS): A valedictory function in order to facilitate the 40 students who undergo the special 240 hrs training programme under Small Poultry Farmer and quality feed grower programme.
The valedictory function was supervised by Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Vice Chancellor SKUAST as Chief Guest. The other Dignitaries present on the occasion were Coordinator KVK Dr. Naseer Ahmad Dar, CAO Budgam Mohd Shafi , Poultry Development Officer Budgam, Dr. Shakeel and other concerned particularly Scientists presently involved to take the training mission forward.
Earlier KVK Coordinator Dr. Nasir in detail unfurled the activities of KVK center particularly in reaching to the farmers at gross root level .He in his interaction address put forth the achievements the KVK during past many years have made particularly giving new boost to the progressive farming .He reiterated that our scientists /workers will always be ready to envisage all possible help and guidance.
In his address chief guest Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Vice Chancellor SKUAST impressed upon the students And KVK scientists and its functionaries to make this initiative a success. There shall be a targeted goal to put all our efforts together in giving agriculture farming a new dimension, so that farmers concerned shall in hail high yields and profits. He said present available technology provides us opportunities to expand our experiences side by side with available latest resources .He reiterated that SKUAST will be always at forefront when interests of farmers are there. He appreciated and congratulated KVK Budgam for successfully completing these two training programmes, such initiatives will prove pivotal push in the overall new agriculture scenario and progressive farming.
During the function VC- SKUAST Prof Mushtaq Ahmad distributed certificates of felicitation among the successfully candidates/trainees in different Fields. The impressive function got concluded with vote of thanks by comments Dr. Nasir Ahmad coordinator KVK(KNS).
