World Hypertension Day Celebrated at DH Bandipora

Bandipora, May 17 (KNS) : District Hospital (DH) Bandipora observed World Hypertension Day with a series of awareness programs aimed at educating the public about the importance of blood pressure control and healthy lifestyle habits.

Speaking on the occasion, the Medical Superintendent of DH Bandipora emphasized the growing concern of hypertension as a silent killer and highlighted the importance of early detection and management. He urged people to adopt preventive measures such as regular exercise, reduced salt intake, stress management, and routine health check-ups.

Informative pamphlets and brochures were distributed to raise awareness about the risks associated with uncontrolled hypertension.
