Srinagar, Dec 23 (KNS): A one day workshop on mental health care bill 2017 was organised by Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences in collaboration with Behavioral and Neuro Sciences Academy of India (BANAI) today on 23rd December 2017 at community General Hospital Unit (Psychiatry) GMC Srinagar.
The speakers, Dr Rajesh Nagpal from Delhi and Dr. Naveen C Kumar from NIMHANS Bangalore delivered on the present Mental Health Act and the implications of the upcoming legislation. Prof. Mushtaq A Margoob chaired the session and stressed on the need to have more such workshops for better understanding of the act. Principal Government Medical College Srinagar, Proof Samia Rashid, was the chief guest and presented the inaugural address at the workshop. (KNS)
