Baramulla Sept 1 (KNS): Senior Congress Leader and I/C North Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Monga (Ex.MLC) today said that he won’t compromise on his dedication and loyalty towards Congress Party.
Monga was addressing workers meeting in Baramulla today in which Senior Party leaders participated and resolved to strengthen Congress.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Nabi Monga said that Congress Party won’t be cowed down by the defection by some leaders in Jammu as well as in Kashmir rather it will provide more opportunities to cadre to demonstrate their commitment to the cause of serving and strengthening the party at grass roots.
Monga said Congress Party has witnessed many ups and downs in the past also, but no one could break its resolve to fight for justice and equitable developmental of people. Congress has served people and it will continue to serve them without any discrimination.
Monga expressed confidence under the programme and policies of the Party and said Congress has the history of 137 years of sacrifices and service to the Nation, urging the Party workers to remain steadfast to strengthen the Party for the betterment of the people of J&K.
Taking a dig at the defectors, Monga said after enjoying power and important positions, scores of leaders deceived the Party aiming to come into power, but the people of J&K will reject them given their opportunism and lust for power, at the sametime, Senior Congress leader expressed confidence that cadre is with Party, they will continue to serve and strengthen it(Congress), he said.
