‘Oppn members responsible for assembly’s adjournment’

Jammu, Feb 01 (KNS): Speaker Assembly Kavinder Gupta here on Wednesday said that he will expunge the remarks of Chief Minister after examining her remark on Article 370 but he simultaneously made it a point that Chief Minister didn’t dub any BJP leader anti-national for talking against Article 370.
According to KNS Correspondent, after adjourning the House sine die Speaker Assembly while talking to reporters outside the Assembly said “I have already clarified my stand. I had information that Chief Minister is not in the town and as such could not ask for her personal appearance. I have not expunged her remarks but will do so after examining her remark.
He said “As far as my memory is concerned Chief Minister said that opposing construction of transit camps for migrant Kashmiri Pandits would encourage the people linking resettlement of migrant Kashmiri Pandits to designs of changing demography in the State. Chief Minister even told this much that Kashmiriyat earlier visible in Kashmir is now visible in Jammu.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelShe didn’t call any BJP leader anti-national for talking against Article 370”.
Saying that National Conference demands autonomy, PDP stands for self rule, BJP seeks revocation of Article 370, Speaker Assembly said all parties reserve the right to put their point of view in the House and this is the precedence for so many years. He regretted that opposition members particularly those who have held the position I am holding now came to blows and physically assaulted members of the treasury benches.
Saying that he wanted the House to continue till the due date but opposition didn’t allow him to conduct the proceedings by unnecessarily creating pandemoniums, Speaker said opposition members did so because they were running out of issues and made it clear that otherwise also the business of the House was almost over”.
