Srinagar April 27 (KNS): As wild boars have created havoc in Chadoora and Sonawari areas of Kashmir valley , social activist and Chairman Jammu & Kashmir RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar has appealed authorities especially Forest and Wildlife Minister to intervene
“We appeal appeal Forest / Wildlife Minister Mr Javed Rana and Chief Wildlife Warden Mr Sarvesh Rai to call a meeting regarding Wild Boars who have plundered paddy nurseries across many areas of Kashmir especially Wathoora Chadoora , Rupora Chadoora, Asham Sonawari and other areas .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThese wild animals attack the paddy crop at night time and eat up all the grains which have been sown by the paddy farmers - For last one week this has been happening and many farmers have sown the seeds multiple times. This problem has frustrated the paddy farmers and needs to be addressed at the highest level” said Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat in a statement (KNS)
