Srinagar, Sep 12 (KNS): Expressing deep concern over the reign of terror unleashed by police and Indian forces in Kareemabad and Rajpora areas of Pulwama, senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan on Monday said that the whole Kashmir valley has been turned into a garrison.
“The whole exercise of ransacking, beating, maiming, looting, dishonouring is aimed at crushing the freedom sentiment and killing the freedom aspirations of the people living in the disputed territory,” Nayeem Khan said in a statement issued to KNS said.
He however reiterated that each and every measure of oppression, suppression and tyranny will be faced with steadfastness and determination.

He paid rich and glowing tributes to Shaheed Javed Ahmad Dar of Wadwan, Budgam who was injured in Narbal and succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS.
Nayeem Khan wished and prayed for speedy recovery of all the injured. He remembered martyrs of Kashmir and exhibited full solidarity with their families.
He also prayed for those languishing in jails and said that their sacrifices are worth praising.
Khan again reiterated that Kashmir dispute cannot be resolved by killing unarmed people, maiming peaceful protesters and putting thousands in Jails. He said that New Delhi must shun its illogical stance on Kashmir and accept that it is a long lasting political dispute which can only be resolved by political majors.
JKNF chief said that New Delhi must come forward with historical confessions about Kashmir dispute to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region. (KNS)
