Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS): Various Workshops and Trainings organized by Integrated Child Protection Services (ICPS) held from 27 January to 31st January 2019.
The workshop was organised in Collaboration with Save the Children in which officials of CWC, JJB, DCPU & SJPU of District Leh and Kargil. Other stakeholders including community representatives of Ladakh division also Participated in these workshops.
Inaugurating the workshop G.A Sofi (State Mission Director ICPS) said that Child protection is our responsibility and it demands to work with zeal, zest and utmost dedication.
He applauded the work done by the CWCs,JJBs and DCPUs in the State including Leh and Kargil. He also thanked Advisor (G) and Secretary Social Welfare Department for their support.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also highlighted the contribution of Justice Hasnain Masoodi as Chairperson, SCOC who has proved a guiding force for implementation of this Mission.
At the end he emphasized on more proactive role of the officers involved in implementing of the Juvenile Justice System.
Dr.Rouf Mohiuddin (Member, SCOC J&K), Sharief Bhat (General Manager, save the Children) were also present on the  occasion, who also had threadbare discussion with the participants.
Rahul Sharma (save the Children) Junaid ul Islam (JKSCPS) were the Resource persons for the workshop, who deliberated on various issues pertaining to the working procedures of CWCs,JJBs,DCPUs and SJPUs. (KNS)
