Wearing face masks made mandatory in Bandipora

Bandipora, 18 July (KNS): The authorities in Bandipora district on Monday made wearing of face mask mandatory in the district in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases. 

According to an order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) wearing of masks in all public places, government offices in Bandipora shall be made compulsory.

The order stated that anybody found without wearing masks shall be dealt under law.

It also stated that advisories have been issued from time to time to the public to use masks and now it appears expedient to reiterate those directions in the interest of health of general public. 

“The COVID19 pandemic has brought to the fore the importance of use of masks to contain spread of corona virus,” it added. (KNS)
