Srinagar, Jan 17 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Waqf Board on Tuesday said that it will forge an understanding on common issues of community interest with Waqf boards of other states.
Vice Chairman Waqf board, Nizamuddin Bhat in a statement issued to KNS said that Union Ministry on Minority Affairs and Ministry of Human Resource Development programmes will also be availed in order to accomplish Waqf objectives.
Bhat said Waqf is already on path of creating positive connect with sister organisation within and outside state with an objective to strengthen the components of education , health, forest, horticulture and agriculture, besides providing proper facilities at all shrines.
He said that Waqf is trying hard to create a permanent resource base of its own and ensure that available resources are properly utilised.
He said while doing so, the dedicated members of board over and above their own contribution seek support from people in their noble endures to make Waqf institution a source of empowerment for the community and centre of influence for moral base of the society.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Bhat stated said that it is heartening to note that members of the board are committed to protect the heritage and have been maintaining close connect with the community at large for collective contribution to safeguard the community interests.
Chairperson of the board Mehbooba's concern for welfare of the communities through their own institutions is a driving force for better performance.
Bhat made a fervent appeal to people to extend cooperation in protecting Waqf assets and enhancing these further to enable the institution to provide better services it is meant for.
He said Waqf employees have been rendering services as devotees and deserve appreciation. (KNS)
