Jammu, Jan 05 (KNS): Sr Vice President J&K PCC and Former minister Congress Sham Lal Sharma today asked BJP to clear its stand on discrimination with unemployed youth from Jammu province.
Addressing a press conference regarding the injustice done by PSC in Assistant Professor posts, Sham Lal questioned Bhartiya Janata Party to clear its stand on the discrimination made with the Youth in Asst. Professor posts,10+2,Teachers etc:
Sham said that this is really a matter of concern the Political Party who get huge mandate from Jammu region and now is playing hide and seek when it comes on to speak for the Youth of Jammu region.
He said that list of Asst. Professor’s,10+2 lecturers, vacancies of teachers etc:-published previously have given a clear message that Jammu Youth have no right of employment because there is no competent leader in present Govt. who can fight against injustice made with educated Youth of Jammu Pradesh. Similar is the case with SPO’s Kashmir get lion share and Jammu get only a little of it.
Mr Sharma reminded BJP that before election they have made huge promises but their criminal silence on issue of discrimination has clearly exposed them. He asked BJP legislators to come clear on this issue let the Jammu people know why BJP is playing hide and seek when it comes with future of Youth.
Sharma accused BJP of its complete surrender before PDP by selling due share of employment and development of Jammu region. The people of Jammu region have shown resentment against the discrimination on the resent allotment of post of teachers in the Education department.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that the BJP should explain reason behind this highly discriminatory decision of Education Department for allotment of 14% seats to Jammu, 0 % to Ladakh and 84% to Kashmir.
He further said that the BJP PDP has crossed all the limits of injustice with Jammu where it may be the PSC or SSRB selection lists of Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges, Associate Professors in GMC, Judicial officers, doctors, engineers etc. But all the Ministers and MLAs of BJP remained completely mum over crucial issues pertaining to Jammu region.
Sharma expressed his concern over such walkouts and said walkout is not a solution. In case these members felt indiscrimination they should straightway come out from the Government.
He said that the BJP which consider itself Champions of Jammu region is not able to settle the issue of people of Jammu and feel disparity between Jammu region and Kashmir region and also disparity in distribution of funds between two regions.
He also said that as per BJP formed this Government with PDP purely on developmental basis & its core agenda like Art 370,35-A,One constitution, One flag which is also mentioned in The Agenda Of Alliance, but now they have been totally exposed.
He further said that BJP leaders have no sense of responsibility and respect towards the needs and sentiments of people of Jammu. (KNS)
