Vote to NC to pursue path of inclusive development, sustainable peace: Sadhotra

NAGROTA NOVEMBER 05 (KNS): Former Minister and National Conference Additional General Secretary Ajay Kumar Sadhotra addressing public meetings today to campaign the National Conference candidate Begum Shamim said that vote for National Conference is for holistic development besides guaranteeing dignified life to the people, irrespective of region, religion or caste. present Omar Abdullah led government is working towards achieving the goal of infrastructural development and implement said while addressing series of election meetings in support of the party candidate in Nagrota bye-election Shamima Begum at Marjali Block Bhalwal and Khandwal and Thanu Block Mathwar.

These meetings were organized by Raghubir Singh Manhas District President and Balwant Singh and Devender Singh Block Presidents.

Sadhotra referred to the bold initiatives taken by the Chief Minister for the past one year despite dual governance and said that the restoration of Darbar Move demonstrates that with the support of people everything is achievable. He said the government is striving to assuage the urges and aspirations of the people braving all the challenges.

He said the party has surmounted turbulent winds with fortitude and there is no reason why it will not emerge as a force to reckon with given massive support of the people. He said despite obstacles created by the opponents by indulging in malicious propaganda, National Conference has retained its premier role in the state politics.

Babu Ram Pal Former Minister and Zone President made a passionate appeal to the voters for supporting the NC candidate, saying it will be vote for the people friendly policies of the government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

He said it is the party of poor, peasants, working class, marginalized segments of society that has flourished as a big Caravan over the decades to steer J&K to peace, progress and prosperity. The party will continue to play its historic role in upholding the dignity and democratic rights of the people, as it does not only represent the glorious ethos of unity in diversity but reflects the urges and aspirations of all segments of the society, he added.

Sadhotra said the National Conference has a chequered history of public service and its role in progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be ignored or undermined.

Sadhotra said National Conference is committed to respect and fulfill the genuine urges and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said restoration of Darbar Move practice is a historical decision of Oma Abdullah Government to strengthen the bonds between Jammu and Kashmir and make economy of Jammu more vibrant and people friendly.

He appealed to the people for the welfare of youth, women folk, kissans and old age people vote for Begum Shamim on 11th of November by pressing No. 3 button of Symbol Plough. This vote will make National Conference victorious.
