‘Help us to resolve Kashmir issue’

Srinagar, May 13 (KNS): In connection to mass contact program of Hurriyat conference JK Young Mens League Chairman Imtyaz Ahmad Reshi, Vice Chairman Shakeel ur Rehman along with Molvi Javaid Khalid Sheerazi and JKLF Leader Molvi Reyaz Friday addressed a public gathering at Wagurah Kalantarta Kandi Baramullah.
While addressing people Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi on behalf of Hurriyat JK according to the statement issued to KNS has invited the OIC representative on Kashmir to visit this part of Kashmir to assess the prevailing situation and help in seeking a peaceful, durable and acceptable solution of Kashmir.
Imtiyaz Reshi said the people of Kashmir have been deprived of their birthright to self-determination for the last several decades.
He said that the right to self-determination was a fundamental principle of human rights law and its universal acceptance had made it a cornerstone right of the United Nations system but we were being deprived of this fundamental right from last 68 years, during which lacs of Innocent Kashmiri people laid these precious lives, thousands were tortured in integration centers, Kashmiri young girls were raped resulting greave human rights violations in the valley and very recently thousands of unmarked graves were found in the valley that itself are evidences of the human rights violations done by the Indian troops and other agencies of Indian Government.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Kashmiri people are worst sufferers by the hands of Indian forces It is moral duty of OIC to assess the prevailing situation and help in seeking a acceptable
solution of Kashmir.
Leaders thanked people of Kashmir for giving their full support to leadership and said people of Kashmir has offered countless sacrifices but unfortunately some anti Kashmir local elements has joined hands with India trying to weaken and suppress Special status of Kashmir.
On this occasion Shakeel ur Rehman said, Government of India is looting natural recourses of valley and people of Jammu and Kashmir are facing acute shortage of electricity and other things.
He said that government of Indian under a well planned strategy, aggression in every field like education, economy, and culture and Kashmir’s are distanced from their own culture and education.
He appealed people of Kashmir to remain vigilant and far from these conspiracies which weaken the Kashmir cause.
Leaders paid glowing tribute to Ameeri Jamat Bangladesh Matee Rehman Nizami and said fighting for rights is not the crime. (KNS)
