Banihal, Feb 20 (KNS): In order to ensure the speedy restoration of damaged infrastructure in hilly areas of Pogal Paristan affected after recent heavy snowfall and flash rains, MLA Banihal and former minister Vikar Rasool Wani today hold day long public grievances redressal camp cum public Darbar at PWD guest house Ukherhal in which general Pogal Paristan and other adjoining areas call on MLA Banihal and highlighted their grievances and demand immediate assistance of the government for early restoration of affected infrastructure.
During the Darbar local deputations projected issues before the local MLA which includes replacement of damaged transformers, requirement of pipes, restoration of link roads and release of pending wages under MGNREGA.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
After hearing deputations Vikar Rasool Wani assured the deputations that all possible steps are being taken to redress these problems at an earliest.
MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani directed the local administration to speed up the restoration work in the area so the common masses may not suffer more.
Meanwhile MLA Banihal urged upon the local four lane and railway construction companies to ensure the maximum employment.
Local deputation of Bingara panchayat hailed the efforts of local MLA Vikar Rasool Wani for projection of their panchayat as model village development initiative programme. (KNS)
