Srinagar, Dec 15 (KNS): Vigilance Organisation Kashmir claimed that it has caught red handed an employee of Water Shed Management Programme Ganderbal while accepting bribe.
A VO spokesman said that Shabir Ahmad Rather of Saloora Ganderbal (Expert) Water Shed Management Programme, Ganderbal, was arrested while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.15000 Ghulam Mohammad Chechi of Mulnar Theed, Harwan in connection with preparation of report with regard to Check Dams and protection of bund at Mulnar Theed area of Harwan.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The accused was taken into custody on spot and his personal search lead to the recovery of the bribe money. “An FIR No.51/2015 u/s 5(2) PC Act Svt 2006 & section 4 A of PC Act, 2014 has been registered at P/S VOK and further investigation taken up,” the VO spokesman said, adding this is the 18th trap case registered by Vigilance Organisation in 2015 thus far.(KNS)
