VHP intimidation of economic blockade of Kashmiris should serve as eye opener for international community: JKLF

Silence of Kashmiri civil society painful: Malik

“Shah-I-Hamadan (RA) taught us the lessons of Tawheed, God fearing, self confidence and self respect. We can reform our lives by following these teachings. VHP intimidation of economic blockade of Kashmiris on bovine meat ban should serve as an eye opener for international community and they should know who is real fascist and communal. A nation that has sacrificed its thousands and thousands for freedom cannot be frightened by such mean things,” JKLF said in a statement.
According to a statement issued to KNS, this was stated by the chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik while speaking to a gathering at Khankah I Moa’lla Srinagar today. The gathering to remember Ameer I Kabir Shah I Hamadan Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA) was held at Khankah I Mo’alla Srinagar in which thousands of people participated with enthusiasm.
Mohammad Yasin Malik said that Shah-I-Hamadan not only led us on spiritual front but brought a revolution to our economic life also. He said that the personality we are today remembering taught us self respect and led us to economic freedom. This is why Allama Iqbal gave him the title of “Salar I Ajam. Yasin Malik said that Kashmiris have put aside the holy teachings of their great ancestors like Shah I Hamadan especially teachings regarding self respect and economic independence and today our youth are being humiliated after government jobs. Yasin Malik said that if Kashmiris want to reform their lives and change their destiny, they will have to approach and follow the teachings of these great souls.
Condemning the recent intimidation to Kashmiris by Hindu chauvinist VHP on bovine meat ban, Yasin Malik said that these communal intimidations should serve as an eye opener for international community and everyone should know who is real communal and sectarian. He said that Kashmiri Muslims, who have sacrificed more than hundred thousand lives for freedom, cannot be frightened by such mean tactics and we will remain steadfast to our religious belief and freedom struggle.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelCondemning the ongoing suppression in Jammu Kashmir, Yasin Malik said that so called PDP led government at the behest of RSS has spread an atmosphere of terror in Jammu Kashmir. No one is allowed to talk and a blanket ban has been imposed on even showing sympathy to bereaved families. Nocturnal raids, arrests, restrictions, intimidations and other oppressive means have become an order of the day. What is more painful is the criminal silence of international community and Indian civil society on this oppression and even more painful is the silence of Kashmiri writers, columnists ,members of civil society etc who are not probably finding any courage to write about the oppressive behavior of so-called rulers.
Mohammad Yasin Malik said Kashmiris are not politically immature now. They recognize their friends and enemies and cannot be be-fooled by hypocritical politics of these so called rulers. He said that so called rulers and their masters in Delhi should bear this in mind that despite all their tactics, oppression and suppression, Kashmiris will keep striving for their freedom and this struggle will continue till the achievement of the desired goal.
Meanwhile JKLF delegation led by its organizer Siraj ud Din Mir today visited Wayel Kralpora Tangmarg and participated in condolence meeting of recently martyred youth Fayaz Ahmad Butt and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family. It is worth to mention that JKLF led by Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik is holding a one day token hunger strike against recent mysterious killings tomorrow on 22nd September 2015 at Partappark Srinagar.
