Member of legislative Council and senior national Conference Leader Dr Bashir Ahmed Veeri today visited several areas of Bijbehara assembly segment and took stock of ongoing developmental works.
According to a statement issued to KNS, accompanied by officials from R&B and others departments, Veeri visited Marhama, Waghama, kanelwan cheenigund, veeri and others villages of the Bijbehara constituency. During the visit, Dr Veeri took stock of the ongoing works including mazdamization of interior roads of Marhama and Waghama and directed officials to complete the work in given time period.

Veeri assured the delegations that he will take up the issues particularly related with flood and irritation with the concerned authorities.
He was aggrieved to know that people in the month of holy Ramadhan were suffering because of interpreted power supply.
Veeri asked administration to leave their cozy corridors and play effective role in mitigating problems faced by general public.
At wagama he took serious not of Ratio card scam in which deserving families were left out and asking accompanying revenue and CAPD officials to correct the records and provide ration cards to deserving families.
