Bandipora, Aug 06 (KNS): The District Development Council vice-chairperson Bandipora, Kaunsar Shafeeq on Friday visited Doban village in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district to resolve land dispute for the construction of sub-centre in the village.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Kaunsar Shafeeq said that there was some dispute over land for the construction of sub-centre in the village, which had resulted in halting of construction work.

The statement reads that she along with AEE R&B visited the village to resolve the land issue, which was hampering the construction of the sub-centre and depriving the village of basic healthcare facility.

“The issue stands resolved now and work on the same will be started in a couple of days,” the statement reads.

Meanwhile, VC DDC Bandipora also took stock of various other issues, confronting the village and assured the villagers that their genuine grievances would be taken up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal. (KNS)
