Srinagar, July 16:(KNS)   Various youth activists hailing from Sonwar constituency on Friday joined Apni Party at the residence of Former Minister and Apni Party Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir.

The new entrants who joined Apni Party included Irfan Ahmad Bhat, Shabir Ahmad Ganei, Suhail Jan, Sheikh Bilal, Muzamil Wani, Saqlain Mushtaq, Salim Hassan and Moiaz Wani.

Welcoming the new entrants into the party-fold, Mohammad Ashraf Mir said that youth are the most dynamic part of a population in a country who possess the potential to renew the current status of a society.

“The most important resource that a country has is its youth resource and Apni Party is resolute to empower the youth in all capacities necessary. I know currently our youth are facing tremendous problems in the shape of unavailability of career opportunities and quality education which would easily enable them to compete on national and international levels. The party agenda gives a fair share to the upliftment of youth and redressal of their genuine grievances,” he said.

Mir urged the new entrants to work diligently for the public welfare in their respective areas and put in unswerving efforts for strengthening the party at grassroots level.

The joining ceremony was also attended by Apni Party leader and Chairman DDC Srinagar Malik Aftab and District Srinagar Youth Wing President Mohsin Zaffar Shah.

On the occasion, new entrants thanked the party leadership for providing them with a relatable platform.(KNS)
