Srinagar, Jan 05 (KNS): Various political, religious and social leaders on Thursday visited the residence of Democratic Political Movement (DPM) spokesman, Yar Muhammad Khan whose mother passed away on Tuesday evening.
The leaders from different political, religious and media organizations expressed solidarity with Khan and prayed for heavenly abode of deceased.
Aisha Begum, mother of Khan died on Tuesday evening after brief illness and was laid to rest on Wednesday morning.
Several leaders including Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, former APHC chairman, Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi DFP leader, Imtiyaz Reshi Youngmens league leader, Peoples League leader, Syed Muhammad Shafi, Feroz Ahmad Khan Muslim League leader, Chairman of Muslim Democratic League Farooq Tawheed who was accompanied by Muhammad Altaf Khan, Freedom League Gen Secretary, Muhammad Ramzan Khan who was accompanied by Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Ghulam Nabi Sumji Muslim Conference chairman and Hurriyat (G) leader, Gen Moosa Tehreek-e-Kashmir leader, Trade Employees Movement leader, Muhammad Shafi Lone Firdous Shah senior Hurriyat leader, President Jammat-e-Ahlihadees, Ghulam Muhammad Bhat and Deputy president, Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri, Molana Riyaz Shah, brother of Molana Showkat Ahmad Shah, Molana Tariq-ur-Rehman Sout-ul-Haq, Bashir Ahmad Indrabi, Kashmir Freedom Front Chairman, Molana Mahmoodu-ur-Riyaz (muqaam-e-Jammiat-e-Ahlihadees president), Tv Artist Zameer Ashai and others visited the bereaved family to express solidarity with them.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Others who visited the residence of Khan were Editor Kashmir Uzma, Sheikh Mukhtrar Ahmad who was accompanied by Abdul Khaliq Haneef, Zaffar Paul and Editor Muslim, Basharat Bashir.
The leaders who visited the bereaved family also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and for the patience of the bereaved family. (KNS)
