Srinagar, August 01 (KNS): Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo Friday chaired a high-level meeting to review the preparedness for the upcoming ‘Har Ghar Tiranga 2025’ campaign, scheduled to be held across Jammu and Kashmir from August 2nd to 15th as part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Culture, Brij Mohan Sharma; Commissioner Secretary GAD; senior police officials; administrative secretaries; and heads of various departments.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary underscored the need to turn the campaign into a mass movement and called for active participation from every section of society—urban and rural alike. He emphasized involving school children, youth, and the general public to instill a sense of patriotic pride and unity.
The campaign will unfold in three distinct phases:
?? Phase I (Aug 2–8): Focused on awareness and outreach, with Tiranga-themed wall art, rangoli, and cultural exhibitions in schools and public institutions.

Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel? Phase II (Aug 9–12): Aimed at community mobilisation through Tiranga Mahotsavs, craft melas, SHG-led stalls, parades, bike and cycle rallies, and widespread flag distribution.
?? Phase III (Aug 13–15): Will culminate in grand flag hoisting ceremonies, illumination of public buildings, and citizen engagement through the popular ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ campaign.
Principal Secretary Culture informed the meeting that more than 15 lakh National Flags will be distributed across J&K to ensure maximum household participation. He also said a digital portal will enable real-time monitoring and event reporting.
This year’s campaign focuses on deepening grassroots participation through art, music, and local cultural expression, reinforcing the message of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
The Chief Secretary directed all departments to ensure smooth coordination and wide coverage of events, especially in panchayats, urban wards, schools, and marketplaces. (KNS)
