Bandipora August 02 (KNS) Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister Usman Majid paid obeisance at Hazrat Nanga Baji (RA) Shrine at Malangam Bandipora and took stock of the arrangements there.
On the occasion, he was accompanied by District President Syed Shafat Kazmi, Zonal President Gh Hassan Lone, Block President Alsooa Bashir Ahmad, Block President Arin Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and senior party worker Gh Mohd Khan.
“While paying obeisance at the revered shrine, he prayed for the increased prospects of peace and property and better future of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion he asked the district and divisional administration to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply, medical aid, sanitation in and around the shrine of Nanga Baji Sahib and availability and supply of essentials.
“The area is expecting to witness large congregations during the Urs period and as such, it would be prudent for administration and police to implement necessary traffic regulatory measures so as to ensure smooth flow of the traffic around the shrine,” he said.
While interacting with the caretakers of Shrine Majid assured all support to the caretaker of shrine Hazrat Nanga Baji for the ongoing Urs observance days.(KNS)
