Srinagar, Jan 26(KNS): Pawan Singh, an official serving at the SDM office in Uri, has been awarded the prestigious Jeevan Raksha Padak for his dedication and courage in public service.
The award, which recognizes exceptional acts of bravery in saving lives, was conferred by the President of India, along with 35 other recipients from various states and Union Territories across the country.
A notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Sunday confirmed the awardees. Mr. Pawan Singh, a native of Doda district, has been serving in Uri for several years and has earned a reputation for his commitment to public welfare and his readiness to face challenges while assisting citizens.
