Srinagar, May 12 (KNS): An Uri man who had crossed LOC into PaK in 2017 surrendered before authorities today.

According to reports, a 36-year-old man from Hathlanga village of Uri Baramulla - Shabir Ahmad Cheechi son of Ghulam Mohammad Cheechi who had illegally crossed to PaK in Oct 2017 and was residing in PaK infiltrated to this side late at night.

After reaching home, he surrendered before Army 3 Rajput Unit & Baramulla Police.
In the initial stage of questioning no recoveries were made from the said person, authorities said.

A case under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Uri and an investigation has been taken up.(KNS)
