Jammu, Jan 19 (KNS): The Opposition Friday morning again created an uproar over the murder of an eight year old minor girl in the Assembly immediately after the proceedings started in the House.
According to the KNS correspondent, as soon as the house started its proceedings, the opposition members raised slogans, "Ladli Beti ko Insaaf do" and amid noises the BJP members interrupted by raising the issue of border firing in Jammu areas.
Minister for Parliamentary affairs Abdul Rahman Veeri told the opposition "the murder of minor girl in Heeranagar area of Kathua district is a serious issue and a Special Investigation Team has been already constituted to probe the matter.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelI assure that those found guilty will be sternly punished". Opposition however sought action against SP and DSP of the concerned area and Veeri assured the opposition that action would be taken against those found responsible for any lapses. (KNS)
