Sopore, Apr 21 (KNS) : In order to avoid any trouble in getting learners driving license, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Baramulla Jamsheed Rasool Choudhary urged people to update their Adhar Cards, frames weekly work schedule which shall came into force after Eid. 
 
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Baramulla Jamsheed Rasool Choudhary said, that people who had already applied for a driving licence and are not able to get a slot need to apply for Re-issue of licence once their learning licence period expires, however, the already paid fee stands submitted. 
 
Asked about issues being faced in getting a driving licence, ARTO said, that people who are applying online for a learning licence need to update their Adhar Cards, a 12-digit number that is provided by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), in order to avoid any trouble. 
 
Meanwhile, in order to ensure smooth functioning of office work, ARTO has framed a weekly work schedule which shall come into force strictly after the Holy festival Eid. 
 
"Every Monday, there will be a Fitness Registration and RC Backlog, on Tuesday Backlog of DLs, Renewal of DLs, Re-issue of LL and Fresh Learning Licence, on Wednesday Backlog of Permits, On Thursday Driving Licence test, on Friday there will be a Fitness test, followed by a normal work on Saturdays", reads a circular issued. 
 
Notably, Jamsheed Rasool assumed charge as Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Baramulla H/Q Sopore on 18th of April, 2022, replacing Mubashir Jan. (KNS)
