I want to ask the Miss Mehbooba Mehbooba Mufti where was her love for the youth then,” he said in a statement issued here. Untoo said that 15 females including 15-year-old Insha of Shopian and 292 male youth were hit by pellets on their faces and who have suffered from retina rupture due to pellets.
“When Chief Minister is not able to restore the vision of these youth, how can she expect peace in the atmosphere of repression and oppression?Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelI believe Kashmir issue will continue to throw a major security challenge for the entire South Asia,” he said. Untoo said that the PDP-led government is not able to revoke controversial AFSPA let alone resolving Kashmir.
“Peace won’t prevail unless Kashmir issue is resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of people. Mainstream parties, like National Conference, PDP and Congress are all acting on the directions of New Delhi and are not serious in resolving Kashmir issue. Rather, the ultimate aim of all the political parties is to muzzle the genuine dissent in Kashmir,” Untoo said, adding that Mehbooba’s recent remarks about resolving Kashmir issue is nothing but a political stunt to befool people. “People of Kashmir are wise enough and they won’t get carried away by this political stunt,” Untoo said.
