Appeal higher ups to redress their grievances

Srinagar, Mar 06 (KNS): The residents of Kralgund and Langate area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district are up in arms against the Power Development Department (PDD) for ‘failing to provide adequate electricity to them’.
A delegation comprising of locals from Kralgund and Langate area told KNS that despite assurances, the government has failed to redress their genuine grievances.
“The authorities have failed to provide adequate electricity in our area thereby leaving us face tremendous hardships,” the delegation said, adding that besides inadequate electricity, the voltage in their area is too low, which has added more woes among them.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Instead of 18 hours of electricity announced by the government, we are getting electricity for 11 hours only. We appeal the authorities to look into the matter at earliest,” the residents said.
The delegation said that they approached the higher ups several times but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard.
They appealed the higher ups to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earliest. (KNS)
