Appeal authorities to redress their grievance

Srinagar, Jan 05 (KNS): Inhabitants of various areas of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district are up in arms against the Power Development Department (PDD) for ‘failing to provide adequate electricity to them.’
The residents of various areas including Kambad, Dailgam Breinty, Damhal Khoshipora, Bona Dialgam, Lalan and Sadura demanded immediate redressal of their genuine grievances.
According to KNS correspondent, Ali Muhammad, one among the residents said that they are facing tremendous hardships due to the absence of electricity in their area.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“We are getting electricity from the Roohu grid station and unfortunately since November last year the grid station is developing snags frequently there we are being forced to face hardships,” he said.
He said that the authorities must not ignore their plights and should provide them adequate electricity so that they could feel a sigh of relief.
They later appealed the higher ups of the department to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earliest. (KNS)
