Srinagar, Jul 23 (KNS): A meeting was held on Monday at State Institute of Education Srinagar, which was attended by district coordinators of incharge group of lecturers chaired by president plus 2 lecturers forum, the trusted and well-known face of Trade Union Dr.Manzoor.

In a statement issued to KNS, J&K Lecturers forum Spokesman Mir Fayaz said that a thread bare discussion was held on the major issues, the fraternity is beset with like assured career progression (ACP), confirmation of incharge cadre, and it was decided in one voice that we will leave no stone unturned and will not rest till our genuine demands will not come to fruition.

They said it is beyond any shred of doubt, that Dr.Manzoor has always put his service career at stake and has sacrificed his personal interests for the betterment of community.

District coordinators of Incharge lecturers unanimously decided to work under the banner of +2 lecturers forum and under the steward and able leadership of Dr.Manzoor.

Dr.Manzoor said that the spat of legal processes shall have to be avoided at all costs, as it is highly harmful for the entire community, however every measure will be taken to protect every ones service interest.

He said the chief issues that stare in our face is the confirmation and accord of ACP, for which we have to redouble our efforts and take everyone on board. The meeting ended on a positive note. (KNS)
