Srinagar, Sept 19 (KNS):(KNS) Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said peace, stability, unity and a strong collective identity will pave the way for India’s robust development. He was speaking at a national seminar on Integration in Indian Languages organised by NIT Srinagar and Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti.
The LG said India’s vast linguistic diversity has been a key strength in building a cohesive society that drives transformation and growth.
“Despite our diverse languages and ideas, a common national identity unites us. Hindi should continue to act as a bridge connecting people, while also motivating us to learn other languages to foster cooperation and integration,” he said as per KNS.
He urged the youth to transcend linguistic differences, preserve India’s cultural heritage, and work towards building a developed Viksit Bharat.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“You have to create a glorious India by erasing every trace of colonial mindset. The 21st century belongs to India and consistent growth will make the country a global power,” Sinha remarked.
The LG encouraged students to learn new languages to broaden perspectives and drive innovation. He also praised NIT Srinagar for establishing an Official Language Cell and promoting Hindi.
On the occasion, writers, scholars, and researchers were felicitated for their contribution to Indian languages.
The event was attended by Atul Bhai Kothari, National Secretary of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas; Prof. Binod Kumar Kanojia, Director NIT Srinagar; Anshul Garg, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; Dr GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, SSP Srinagar; besides literary personalities, scholars, faculty and students.
