Union MoS health visits revered Sufi shrine in Aishmuqam

Aishmuqam, Sep 22 (KNS): Minster of State for Health and Family welfare (GOI) , Dr Praveen Bharati Pawar Wednesday visited the revered Sufi shrine of Hazrat Zain-ud-din Reshi R.A in Aishmuqam.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said that she was greeted overwhelmingly by the  Intizaamia committee led by its president Mohammad Yaqoob Gadiyal who along with the Wakaf administration and others welcomed the dignitary and briefed about the reverence and relevance of the Sufi shrines and Sufi teachings.

"The Minister was accompanied by DDC Anantnag (who is a frequent visitor to the said shrine himself), Director Health Kashmir, SDM Pahalgam, Tehsildar Pahalgam, SDPO Pahalgam, SHO Aishmuqam and other officers and officials of Civil and police Department," reads the statement.

It reads that the intizaamia committee also demanded a trauma hospital, an Ayush Dispensary and upgradation of the diagnostic infrastructure in the Sufi township which was responded positively by the visiting dignitary and DC Anantnag.

"The guests were served Tabaruk at Rozabal shrine by the intizaamia committee and Wakaf administration, previously the Minster was received by Town area committee president as well," it reads. (KNS)
