Anantnag, Oct 11 (KNS): An unidentified militant was killed, while a cop was injured during an encounter that broke out in Khagund area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday morning.

A police official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the forces went to pick up an OGW but it turned into an encounter.

He said that during the ensuing gunfight a militant was killed, while a cop was injured. 

The official said a pistol and a grenade has been recovered while the operation is going on. (KNS)
