Srinagar, June 13 (KNS) : An unidentified male body, estimated to be around 35–40 years old, was recovered from the River Jhelum near Panthachowk on June 12 at approximately 4:00 PM.
Police Station Panthachowk, with the assistance of local residents, retrieved the body. Despite efforts, the deceased could not be identified. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team from Srinagar visited the site and completed initial examination procedures.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The body was then shifted to SMHS Hospital for medico-legal formalities and later moved to the mortuary at Soura Hospital for preservation.
Police described the deceased as having a moderate brown complexion, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a navy-blue trouser with a leather belt and a blue half-sleeve T-shirt.
Authorities have requested the public's help in identifying the deceased.(KNS)
