Srinagar, Aug 17 (KNS): President Rabita Madaris Jammu and Kashmir Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi has termed Muzaffar Hussain Beig’s statement regarding madaris Islamia as baseless and irresponsible.
Moulana Rehmatullah in a statement to KNS “advised” Member Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Beig to study the history of Madaris Islamia and also observe the existing madaris so as to correct his knowledge regarding these schools.
He said after studying the history of these schools, he will come to know that first such School was established by our revered prophet Mohammad (SAW) where from caliphs and lakhs of companions of prophet where produced and scholars like Imam Abu Hanifa and his disciples Imam Mohammad, Imam Shafi, Imam Hambal, Imam Malik, Hazart Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani and Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri, his students Alama Shabir Ahmad Usmani and in our Kashmir Meerakh Shah Indrabi, Moulana Mohammad Yousuf Shah, Moulana Syed Mohammad Qasim Shah Bukhari, Moulana Mohammad Ashraf Indrabi and Muzafar Hussain Beigh’s relatives Moulana Abdul Latif Beigh and Moulana Murtaza have studied Islamic teachings and knowledge through the schools and have kept their mission of Dawah going.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
In his statement, Moulana Qasimi urged Beigh to understand the greatness of Islamic Schools who have sacrificed everything only to keep the traditions (Sunnah) of prophet Mohammad (SAW) alive.
Moulana said that Beigh being highly qualified and Member of Parliament such a statement was not expected from him, with which he has unknowingly strengthen the hands of enemies of Islam and false powers.
Moulana urged Muzafar Beigh to study and observe the functioning of these Islamic Schools with good will so that he will know the truth.
Moulana Qasmin in the statement said that Beigh should have told the All Party Meet that how New Delhi betrayed Kashmiris since 1948 and time and again broke the promises made with Kashmiris and when Kashmiris protested against it they were ruthlessly beaten with canes and bullets were fired on them.
In the recent past when Halal food items were banned and people of Kashmiris protested, they were beaten and it is utter injustice and barbarism.
“Had Beigh explained all this to the delegates in All Party Meet, it would have been an ample proof of his being a responsible person,” he added. (KNS)
