Srinagar, June 03: As part of its ‘Feed a Family’ initiative started since last year, owing to the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic lockdown , Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil has enhanced the distribution of Family Food kits to at least 500 families each month , badly hit by the lockdown. 

Darul Khair in a statement said as is the practice, the Family Food Kits will be handed over to the representatives of local masjid committees and they after identifying the most needy people/households in their respective areas will deliver the kits to them.

The organisation, under the patronage of incarcerated Mirwaiz Mohammed Umar Farooq , active in carrying out humanitarian and relief & aid work across Kashmir, reiterated its appeal to affluent and well-off persons to continue supporting Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil so that the Organization can continue its humanitarian work with zeal and vigour, especially during the raging pandemic .
