Govt has to appear before public court: DFP

Srinagar, Apr 13 (KNS): Expressing strong resentment over the killing of one more youth in forces' firing in Kupwara on Wednesday, the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) said the government "has to appear before public court as it is directly responsible for the killings".
In a statement issued to KNS, DFP general secretary Moulana Abdullah Tari while expressing grief over the killing of one more youth Jahangir Ahmad Wani said this "killing spree is part of the loyalty the state collaborators have to exhibit to New Delhi masters".
Tari also condemned the arrest of party's Peer Inayatullah (Kupwara), Aadil Ahmad Wagay (Islamabad), Nisar Ahmad, Muhammad Shafi, Aashiq Ahmad, and others saying the police is unnecessarily harassing the Freedom Party members.
Criticising administration over the detention of resistance leadership, Tari said on one hand, the blood of our youth of spilled like water and on other side, forces are given an open deal to unleash the reign of terror upon people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Condemning the restrictions following the brutal killing of youth and a woman in Handwara, the DFP general secretary said the authorities aren't even allowing the people to mourn and condole the loss of lives.
He also termed the probe announced by the government as fraud and deception saying, "This has become a routine for the puppet administration."
Moulana Tari expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for their patience.
He also lashed out at Indian media for its biased approach saying the NIT issue was given unnecessary hype as that was part of its propaganda. "But this so-called media never reported on the massacres perpetrated by its forces in Kashmir," he said. (KNS)
