Srinagar, Sep 22 (KNS): Terming Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif’s speech in UNGA as ‘logical’, United Jihad Council (UJC) on Thursday said that the “people of Kashmir have lauded Pak PM for presenting the Kashmir issue in detail and with courage.”
As per e-mailed statement to KNS, UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din while addressing a high level meeting of UJC as saying that “people of Kashmir are thanking Pakistan PM for presenting the Kashmir issue in detail before the World community. The courage of Kashmiris was further strengthened due to the speech of Pak PM. After long time the people of Kashmir feel that Pakistan is not only the stakeholder of Kashmir but is also their advocate.”
He said that “Kashmiris fighting against the atrocities being committed on them from past 70 years especially since July 8 this year, needs attention from world community.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThey (world community) should play their role as promised with Kashmiris.”
UJC chief further thanked Prime Minister of China, president of Turkey, President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and others for “raising their voices against the Indian atrocities being committed on people of Kashmir and stressed over the resolving the Kashmir issue.”
He further said that, “Unfortunately, Kashmiris has lost trust on UN General Secretary, Ban Ki Moon for failing to speak over Kashmir issue and atrocities being committed on people of Kashmir.”
While referring to Uri attack, UJC chief condemned “the idea of India of attacking Pakistan” and said that, “The attack on Pakistan will have serious consequences.” (KNS)
