Srinagar, Apr 02 (KNS): United Jihad council (UJC) on Monday paid tributes to the slain civilians and militants who were killed during encounters in Shopian and Anantnag districts of South Kashmir on Sunday.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted its chief; Syed Salah-ud-din said that these sacrifices won’t go waste.
“The killing and injuring people in Kashmir clearly indicates that the India has failed to suppress the zeal of Kashmiris towards freedom struggle but they are still reluctant to withdraw their illegal occupation from Kashmir,” he said, adding that “the silence maintained by the world community is tantamount to giving licence to the India to kill Kashmiris.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
He also appealed Pakistan to launch media campaign to highlight the atrocities being committed on Kashmiris. “Besides diplomatic support to Kashmir, Pakistan should launch media campaign against the atrocities in Kashmir,” he said. (KNS)
