Srinagar, Dec 26 (KNS): United Jihad Council (UJC) on Tuesday expressed concern over the deteriorating health conditions of pro-freedom leaders who are languishing in different jails.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted the outfit chief Syed Salah-ud-din said, “The health conditions of the pro-freedom leaders arrested by the NIA are deteriorating as they are being deprived of the facilities in the jails.”
“Under well planned conspiracy, the lives of these incarcerated leaders including Shabir Ahmad Shah, ALtaf Ahmad Shah, Peer Saifullah, Ayaz Akbar, Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Shahid-ul-Islam, Farooq Ahmad Dar,Dr Ghulam Muhammad Bhat and others have been put at risk,” he said, adding that the arrested leaders won’t succumb by these NIA tactics.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also said that “India is trying to befool the world community by beating the drum of initiating dialogue process but at the same time atrocities are being committed on the people of Kashmir.”
UJC chief expressed shock over disallowing the pro-freedom leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik to meet his wife and little daughter.
He appealed the Pakistan government and its missioners should continue to highlight the human rights violation in Kashmir. (KNS)
