Udhampur, November 08 (KNS): In a major crackdown under the provisions of the NDPS Act, Udhampur Police has attached properties worth ?10.62 crore belonging to 17 hardcore drug smugglers across J&K.
The attached properties include 12 residential houses, 12 marlas of land, 2 shopping complexes, 1 flat at Chandigarh, 33 vehicles, 1 JCB, and 2 saving accounts, all identified as assets raised from proceeds of narcotics smuggling.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Investigating Officers, during sustained enquiries, established that these assets were acquired through illegal drug trade and attached them under Section 68(E) of the NDPS Act, thereby disrupting the financial networks of narcotics traffickers.(KNS)
